Last Minute Goodbyes
It’s almost time to depart again
Voices shouting through my mind
And when I leave, I want you to know
My heart was never blind.
Dreaded day comes before my eyes
I always wish we had more time
But the day will soon come again
That I find my piece of mind.
Together, days seem to breeze right by
There ain’t enough hours in a day
Falling sand in the hourglass
Will never sit the same way.
Don’t wanna look back on this time we had
Inside my shell facing regret
Instead, I wanna take a Polaroid
Freeze time to make best of it.
