though  far away...

I could see the pain hiding

though you pretended hard ..

As you had pretended all along.

I prayed hard in my mind

hoping to hear you call my name,

For the last time at least

hoping to find an excuse to turn back around

and see you standing there .

Fighting back the tears

trying to pretend I still didn't care

Desperately wishing for a happy ending

trying to forget all the memories

crying silently.
