This WorldMature

I do not know
where it is
that we stand
for all the days
begging the world
for a possible hint
at what chance
we could have
in a war
we were destined
to lose
the moment
our feet
touched the floor
breaking the rules
every second
fate of a species
resting in bloody hands
we let this happen
every chance given
thrown away
as if the world
were nothing
but a place to fail
we are not here
just to burn
or die
but to prosper
and to live

The End
