Don't Look BackMature

The need to leave
was always too much
always wanting
to be anywhere else
on fear
on all the things
I've come to hate
the people you became
who I'm terrified I'll be
like the chains
you always put around me
weighing me down
with all the things you said
can't stand
the sound of your voice
singing every reason
why I've gotta go
at the top of your lungs
like it's the only thing
that'll ever matter
well I'm here to say dear
all those reasons
are more than enough gas
and when I do go
I'm never looking back

The End
