Labeled Suicide

Scars
deepen, wounds rot,

Burns
begin to sting like chemicals,

Souls
bruise and wither like lilies,

Hearts
are stabbed so blood leaks out,

Each
tourniquet is soaked in a spray of crimson,

Then
skulls are splintered by silver bullets,

Bits
of bone pierce the skin,

We
lie lifeless,

Bodies
thrown in ditches,

Labeled
suicide though it’s clearly mass-murder,

Nobody
is brave enough to disagree,

Nobody
is brave enough to care,

We
are shot for your cowardice.

The End
