Knots

Recommend

I never asked you to hold me
In the post-pardum love that dried up too quick,
But I'm asking you to hold me now.
I need to pick apart the seems that hold together
The good and the bad in my life and in you, and I can't do it alone.
All I ever wanted was your love.
Every little knot I've tied was an attempt to hold on to you in vain,
And I need you to teach me to untangle myself
So then slowly, patienty, carefully,
I may untangle you.
