Kiss Good-bye

©1995 Nick Robinson (FTH Ch 3, pg 38)

Kiss good-bye that love, it died

And kiss good-bye that life, you’d tried

Kiss good-bye all the things you’ll miss

Just end it all with a kiss

Forget the lips you’d kissed so much

Forget the skin you used to touch

Just pucker up and make it good

For it’s come to an end, like you knew it would

Just make it long, and make it last

For all your dreams have come to pass

Just kiss it good, and kiss it strong

‘Cause you fell in love, but it was wrong

Kiss good-bye that love, it died

And kiss good-bye that life, you’d tried

Kiss good-bye all the things you’ll miss

Just end it all with a kiss

Now you’ve got to kiss it all away

Or else the pain will always stay

So lick your lips, and close your eyes

Kiss her good, and then say good-bye

But when you’re done, let her see

That with this kiss you’ve set her free

Oh one last kiss, yeah you’ve gotta try

Just one last kiss to say good-bye

Kiss good-bye that love, it died

And kiss good-bye that life, you’d tried

Kiss good-bye all the things you’ll miss

Just end it all with a kiss

The End
