Kicking The Habit
Just one more level... okay, one more quest
One more whisper and then I'll get some rest
Why can't I stop, why can't I step away?
When did yesterday turn into today?
Looking back now at all of these mistakes
The dream over, at last I am awake
I try not to think of the time wasted
But rather the tears of laughter tasted
In endless hours friends were made and lost
The memories will last but at what cost?
I am free now, my lesson has been learned
But the scars remain, this fire has burned
No more lies to mend, no more time to spend
Last night was the end, goodbye my old friend
