Katie Wilson's Avenger

You think nobody saw you,
When you took sweet Katie home.
You think she lies beside you,
And you two are all alone.

You forget, my friend, the night has eyes--
Those eyes belong to me.
And I have hands, and fingers too,
And soon enough you'll see.

When Katie Wilson starts to rot,
Your window will unlatch,
The putrid smell will slowly fade,
But there will be a catch.

As the breeze flows in, so too will I,
As silent as a breath,
My bone-white fingers 'round your throat
Will drag you to your death.

So Katie Wilson, rest in peace,
Await our final tryst,
The man who tore your life away,
Has a date with deadly.... mist.

The End
