Just Living Life
Life sucks.
Life is awesome.
Life bites.
Life is bliss.
Sometimes I just wish it would all slow down...
Mostly when it's good.
Haven't you noticed that the sweet parts of life
Seem to end in seconds?
Then the worst parts...
Illness, pain, loneliness, hurt,
Draw out every minute into
Agonizing hours.
Days.
Weeks.
Months.
Years.
It's so hard to just say "This will be over soon."
I use to say it all the time.
Every day. Every hour.
But now as time stretches itself out,
Mocking me,
I find it harder to just wipe it off
And move on.
