It's Effects

A sad wondering about having someone dear not being there.

That tremble

in her heart ,

the sharpness of

a cold crunch

in the tears of inside

that alerted her to a

something

that she denied.

The alertness,

the touching

of nerves to his,

laced along the abyss of unreachable,

unquenchable,

his mind,

yet she knew,

with an alertness

that rumbled through her being.

She's awakened.

She's awakened.

With the harsh grinding of

Thickened soles to ground,

rubber scuffing against cement.

A shallowness screaming

from inside her.

He ran away.

He ran away.

Strange.

The slap of a strongness

that shivered,

failed in her chest.

He ran away.

He ran away.

The End
