Inverted Perspective
A golden orb of light
Warm, golden light
Chases away the dark
The night did no wrong
But shadows see
And with the darkness flee
From the golden orb of light
Blindingly bright
Scattering the night
And to what end?
Terrible, golden light
Terrifies the night
Makes it run and hide
Makes it try to flee
From the horrifying light
The terrifying light
Innocent night
Cowers in fear
Before the all-consuming light
