A boy versus reality.

Fascinated by noon

At the simple act of day

The boy sat half-eyed, I’d say

Sensitised, de-empathised

At what he then saw

The ninth life of a cat reach ten

The cycle of a life

An end of one road

The boy sat crying, eyes closed

A dust wind passed

Rose high into the blue

The birdsongs around sounded new

The thoughts, they changed

Through the course of the day

The boy sat wide- eyed, I’d say

The End
