In The Dirt

Bury me in this lake of sorrow,

Regrets dig me up tomorrow

And I'm not afraid to die,

And I'm not afraid to lie.

Shame and disgrace, they sew my eyes

Closed, now nobody cries.

Disposed of to the cold earth,

Bleeding out the guilt and hurt.

I will wash away the filth, as death cleanses my disgrace,

Now the dirt won't scar my face;

I want to fall away from all of this,

The earth seals up one final kiss.

The End
