In Hindsight

The memories you miss when you're gone.
The friends you left.
The time you shared.
The places you can't be.
The faces you don't see.
Those memories dissolve in your brain with age and decay.
You long for those memories of the worst hell, the lost pain, those sad realizations.
Those things that will never be.
Those things that you hated.
Those things that you loved.
Your whole life connected, then done.
You might not care how.
You might have never cared,
But you'll care when you're gone.

The End
