I'm Sorry

I'm sorry for wasting your time,

for playing dressup with pen and paper,

pretending that what i had to say mattered.

I'm sorry for playing make believe with these dreams,

I don't even know what I'm doing.

I'm sorry for lying to all of you,

this isn't poetry...

I'm not even sure if its me,

I feel like I've been used as a rag doll-

there ain't much to it, to me, to the things that you see, these things that you read.

So, I'm sorry for wasting your time.

For trying to be more than what the world told me to be.
