I'm Never Safe At Home

I can't wait to welcome oblivion
because it brought me to you
and I deemed it prudent
I should fall apart with you

Let's escape to somewhere unknown
where we can begin our lives
and grant each other meaning

But life can be so deceiving
I'm best left alone because
I'm never safe at home

The childish voices that bully me
into surrender every time I feel
something I do not have to write down
become white noise when I am with you

Let's try and leave this all behind
We can live through each others adoration
and find the will to live for each other

But life can be so deceiving
I'm best left alone because
I'm never safe at home

The End
