If Their Courage Could Be Minemature
I'm singing out, unusual but who are they to judge
I'm dancing now because tonight I've had enough
Why should I listen to words designed to destroy?
Why should I even care?
Conform to the will of friends, converted to enemies
People who are no longer there
I will help you in your hour of need
They say it now but reluctant in deed
They were never the right ones
Never true, but distorted like a haze
I shall smile on and shine on, though I'm dazed
An inner beauty with the power to amaze
Those burning stars in their eyes
If only that sparkle, the supernova could be mine
Down but never beaten, I am stronger
Kicked and desecrated, but no longer
Blind to the actions of those who live for consequence
Live to see some implosion at some other's expense
With thought and deeds at your head like a target
But you are stronger, never change to adapt but rise above it
Tonight we are greater souls than them
Those burning stars in her eyes
If only that sparkle, the supernova could be mine
Down but never beaten, I am stronger
Kicked and desecrated, but no $%%@ing longer
