If She Can Help Me
Gathering dust in your reflection
It made sense to drag myself into another’s eyes
Maybe my vulnerability will seem like strength
it’s all I have because if it is gone so will I
I am washed up and still I am unclean
I won’t argue anymore because I can’t believe
All the small truths have turned against me
they are with you now
Everyone blurs and their voices are rendered mute
not so well defined... not that I would know
If there is a new path out of the maelstrom
then she will show me
then it will unfold for me
If she can help me
Of course, there will be complications
if I lend her my soul will she walk out
Just like the others
but I will see how it goes anyway
