If I Could Meet Anyone...

If I could meet anyone alive to day,

I find that would be something hard to say,

But I think that it might have to be,

One of these possible, remarkable three.

The first would be the Dalai Lama,

So I could get my inner soul, all calma,

The second would be Robert DeNiro,

Because he's always been my acting hero.

But in the end, it might be the third,

Because he's the master of written word.

Yes, somebody I'm sure that I would like,

To spend some time with John Updike.

In the past, I might want to meet,

Churchill, Lincoln, Byron, Keats.

Dickens, Twain, and Shakespeare too,

Caesar, Jesus, to name a few.
