The Rest

I never thought I'd

whisper while I sleep.

I never thought I'd cry.

I never thought

your secrets I'd keep.

I never knew I could die.

But now as the world spins,

everything happens,

slowly.

I never thought I'd

fly to touch the sky.

I never thought I'd dance.

I never thought I'd

have to say good-bye.

I never know I'd have romance.

We all know how long we've got

to fight it to the top

but we never know what happens

when we're there!

I always knew I'd

dream to own the world.

I always knew my best.

I always knew I'd

be my Daddy's girl,

But I never knew about the rest.

But now I know

The world ain't so slow,

it's just waiting . . . waiting.

The End
