Decisions

I stand,

Feet planted firmly to the ground,

My head held tall.

Go right! says one voice,

Go left! says the other,

SHUT UP! I tell them all.

I stand,

Weight on one leg,

Debating on my next move.

Go Forwards!  says one voice,

Go Backwards! says the other,

Be quiet! I reply.

I stand,

Arms crossed and trying to find,

An answer in the dirty ashphalt of the road.

Silence from the voices,

Silence from my self,

Then, Trust yourself, says a new voice.

I walk,

Forwards and to the right,

Blindfolded, so that my heart can guide me.

The End
