If I were a Butterfly

If I were a butterfly,

I'd be quite pretentious,

You'd never guess why.

(I'm quite conscientious)

Fluttering in the wind,

I'd live with the breeze,

Though I'd have to be careful,

Because I'm known to sneeze

Ogling the flowers,

That live with your grass,

Of course I'd be gentle!

(Don't be so crass)

A reminder of summer,

Of spring and of colour,

Though I fear for the winter,

Without me it's duller

Oh look it's a bird!

Looking hungrily my way,

I'm sorry dear reader,

I've been whisked away!

The End
