If I could build a time machine

Just random

If I could build a time machine,

And could go back to the past.

I’d go back to the time when clichés were still fresh.

Where sentences still carried thought.

Where words still swayed like trees.

I’d go to a time when life was poetic,

And where words of wisdom were not thrown on stone ears.

The End
