If I am Wrong Once More

I can't remember when I last felt alone
but it doesn't matter now I have the night
to blind me with amber-soaked streets
as I wait for the snow to fall

I see your dreams in the electric light
casting shadows where I stand
If I could be a part of that world
I'd need no one else to comfort me

I wish I could live in this wonderland
In the eyes of the streetlights
and the blizzard of a thousand fantasies
but the bruises on my heart will remain
if I am wrong once more

I feel like I am living a scene from another life
here comes the leading lady to take my hand
Feel the chill and hold me close
we'll watch the diamond sparkle of the frozen lake

I wish I could live in this wonderland
In the eyes of the streetlights
and the blizzard of a thousand fantasies
but the bruises on my heart will remain
if I am wrong once more

The icy pavement shines like a jewel
I embrace you, the greatest treasure of all
Snowflakes are swaying in the tender breeze
I close my eyes and wish the moment would last forever

The End
