I Will Die With You

If I told you I would die tomorrow

Would it make you run?

Would you hold me in the cold dawn light

So that I could see the sun?

Would you stay with me until the end

Or would you leave me be?

Would the pain and the aftermath

Be all that you could see?

If I asked you to take my life

So that I could deal my fate

Would you cut my wrists with hands of care

Or would you simply wait?

If you told me you would die tomorrow

I know exactly what I would do

I'd take your hands in mine and whisper

I will die with you.

The End
