Note that reads...

So there it is along the shattered glass,

and the yellow tape.

A little piece of paper,

Folded twice, bearing your name.

So hold your breath, fade away.

Don't let then see what you found that day.

Because If they knew what you found.

So hold this note straight to your chest,

As your heart beats twice as fast.

I never lied to you once,

I was simply proven wrong.

Last few words of a man with a solution,

And it's addressed to the problem.

Smudged ink and torn paper,

Always seemed so pointless.

So hold your breath, fade away,

Don't let  them see what you found that day.

Because if they knew what you found.

So hold this note straight to your chest,

As your heart beats twice as fast.

I never lied to your once,

I was simply proven wrong.

So this pen is in my hand,

But it feels like a gun.

The End
