snatched from your handsMature

screaming to the brokeness
hopelessness all around
fear ringing through my soul
i'll never make it home.

don't let anything snatch me from your hands, Father.
let not death nor life, angels nor demons, present nor future, nor height nor depth
let not the sin that eats my soul.
separate me from your loving arms.

but Father, oh Father I'm so broken
please don't see me, please don't see what lay beneath
i am not worth saving, leave me to die
comfort i do not deserve.

don't let anything snatch me from your hands, Father.
let not death nor life, angels nor demons, present nor future, nor height nor depth
let not the sin that eats my soul
separate me from your loving arms.

help me smile through the tears
show me your hope, display to me your light
reassure me you have a plan, i am not abandon
Father you and you alone make this life worth living.

don't let anything snatch me from your hands, Father.
let not death nor life, angels nor demons, present nor future, nor height nor depth
let not the sin that eats my soul
separate me from your loving arms.

safe am i
in you alone
you are my comfort
nothing shall snatch me from your hands.

The End
