I Shall Rise Again
You took everything that remained of me
Reached through the void and tore me apart
Another round and the pain is screaming within me
When will I bring back my shattered heart?
You spoke in words designed to destroy
Far from comfort as I hit the canvas again
The coldness of words you chose to deploy
Knocked back but still powering through
Resurgam
I shall rise again
Resurgam
Another time to fight again
You stole everything I loved away from me
Suffocating, seeing the lights begin to fade
The wheels spin and fortune has escaped me
But still standing, forever unafraid
Resurgam
I shall rise again
Resurgam
Another time to fight again
The power that remains, we will win or lose it all
The last minutes of the round, time for warriors to rise or fall
The strength that remains, to surge and deplete
And so this is how it ends
