Can't Miss It

When I wake up
I see the lights in my eyes
But when you wake up it's just another day

When I wake up
I think of salmon and beautiful food
But when you wake up, there's no changes in any way

And you don't see what is missing
In the way that you've been wishing
Every year
Or not wishing..
How did you forget the Christmas cheer?

When I wake up
I see the smiles on my mum's face
But when you wake up, nothing's even changed

When I wake up
I know that stockings and presents, they wait
And when you wake up there's not even a Christmas tree
And you think that's just fine, nothing wrong with skipping Christmas

And you don't see what is missing
In the way that you've been wishing
Every year
Or not wishing..
How did you forget the Christmas cheer?

And you don't see what you're missing
In your childhood you're missing
Every thing
Every word of teaching and understanding
How could your parents forget that you are here?

The End
