I live for life

Going down the road of life,

and suddenly there's a fork in the road.

Should I take this path?

Or that one?

So I take the right turn,

the first of many.

And as a skip happily along,

I think of what would've happened if I'd taken the other path,

if it would've been just as merry,

or darker,

scarier.

"The shadow thoughts" make me weary,

and cautious.

People say that we learn from our mistakes,

so can we learn without them?

The End
