I Am YoungMature

I am young, and I enjoy being drunk
I am young, and I enjoy being reckless
I am young, and I love not having to care
I am young, and I hate you when you’re drunk.

I am young, and I am sick of
The sound of beer cans chinking
And wine glasses clinking
And the stench on your breath

I am young, and I am sick of
The drooped ways your eyes sag
When you’ve had just one more drag
Just one more sip
Bottle

I am young, and I shouldn’t have to
Take the glass out of your hand
Before you fall into your state of
Comatose and Apnia

I am young and I shouldn’t feel like this
I shouldn’t be victimised for commenting
On your selfish over indulgence
I shouldn’t have to care for you, yet

I am young, and I want you to stop.

The End
