I Am Just The Stones

I say what I mean to say,
In my around about way,
Don't believe in being worst,
Just try to be the best,
I couldn't settle for anything less.

I'd sing you a song,
But I am just a stone,
Not rolling, not moving,
Just gathering moss,
Growing old.

I've attempted so far,
To be the most I can be,
But I see so much further,
And no one follows me.

I might be out of this world,
But my feet aren't on the ground,
I'm everything, to no one,
When my mind is just a stone.

The End
