I Am a Warrior

I Am a warrior fighting against evil.

I Am standing in the darkness of this world.

I Hear my Lord calling me in His gentle voice.

I Feel my sin's chains holding me back from taking that first step towards Him.

I See Lucifer laughing in enjoyment as I fight against the sins of my past.

I Try to struggle away, until my Lord comes and takes my place, locking the chains around His wrists!

I Say to Him, "You don't deserve this!" but He sends me on anyway, an unforgettable fire of love in his eyes.

I Dream of seeing Him again, face to face in the light, so I keep moving forward knowing that one day my dream will come true.

I Am a Christian, and I will continue to fight for my Lord, The King.
