The baker

I am a baker
and i work
through the morning hours

My dough i knead
from whole wheat seed
and my mask is whole wheat flour

The bread i bake
is sold at noon
for quarter dollar a pack

Enough to feed
myself and i
a measly dollar
snack

I close the shop
at half past seven
and walk to home
at night

With my
whole wheat mask
and the smell of bread
and my hands stained
powdery white

The End
