Steel the hollow nightmares

Morning breath,
And murmur an everlasting

Of contentment as
The monsters pass you
By.
And in the morning of hollow lands
Cries the voice of mourning
To remind your mind
Of what can be blessed
In the slumbers that keep you

P
On this soil that we have
Soiled, on this land that
Knows how to weep.
A lullaby for strangers
Walking amongst counting sheep,
A shepherd standing by the bed
Of a boy lost in sleep.
Hush your eyes
