How Cherished Now

How cherished now

She,

Who divines my Spirit’s morrow

How loved now

She,

Whose impassioned heart gave sign

How touched now

And raised to joy from sorrow

By She, who put her hand in mine.

How saved now

I,

Whose shattered faith lay weeping

Alive now

I,

Her name upon my lips and soul

Together now

Our hearts in tender keeping

Forever bonded, pure and whole.

 As one now

We,

Delighting in each other’s presence

In love now

We,

Divinely sharing passion’s bliss

Engulfed now

In sweet amour’s essence

Our love enshrined with every kiss.

The End
