Hopeful Musings in a Blue Dress & Tights

Butterflies are beautiful
Because they were caterpillars.

They’re mentally conditioned to a
Life other than the one they have.

They shed their skins
And flaunt the colours of their rebirth.

The chip-off-the-old-block,
In the two inch heels.

The pretty little princess,
Playing football with the guys.

The butterfly is my favourite,
And I love each and every one.

Butterflies are beautiful,
Especially because they were caterpillars.

The End
