Thoughts on a first love

You asked for it – And I gave it all

My hope and fears

My Dreams – My nightmares

Beamingly, ebulliently hopeful

-Once you carried it all,

Piled neatly into your arms that I so forcefully

And delicately

-The small assemblage of my heart

You dropped the load

-too heavy

-too chafing

-too bothersome

You place my love on the ground

At your feet

The End
