High Arcana

A simple wish of a child
Let loose into twilight’s last breath
From this simple wish the Father Magicks be born

Chalice of Everdew filled with His tears
Spill my blood drink from the cup once more
See the Truth with your own eyes
But know that knowledge comes with a price

A brother, a taboo broken
They rewarded with the Dark Gift
“One cannot create a life from naught”
Without cursed stone of crimson dream

A simple wish of a child
Let loose into twilight’s last breath
From this simple wish the Father Magicks be born
Bringing hope unto kingdom forlorn

Faithless be the Broken King
An angel without a wing
Behind aegis of White Empathica he cries
“What is lost is lost”

Damned script of time undone
Rewrite the hollow words of naught
The past rings upon deaf ears
A painless lesson is one without meaning

A simple wish of a child
Let loose into twilight’s last breath
From this simple wish the Father Magicks be born

On a quest of forgiveness
A boy and a bond of blood
Pursuing the Truth to regain what is lost

Set in stone their fate
Those that defy the universal law
How were we supposed to know?

Resonating purity of a mothers touch
Our only wish was to feel it again
Was this so wrong?

A simple wish of a child
Let loose into twilight’s last breath
A simple wish. . .

What is lost is lost
What is done is done
The past cannot be rewritten
The future cannot be foretold
Knowing this, why did we try?
In vain we fell, You and I

A simple wish of a child
Let loose into twilight’s last breath
A simple wish of a child
Granted this morn

The End
