Hidden in the Deep
Somewhere hidden deep
I'm haunted by my mirror image as I sleep
Provoking a response and I find myself distraught
My courage drained, in the dark recesses of my thoughts
Taking me down again
I'm colder and more afraid
And so the darkness will swallow me
My darkness
And I want to see the stars again
My atrocities
And maybe I'll conquer death
My darkness
And I want to see the stars again
My atrocities
Someday I'll catch my breath
Sometime in the witching hour
I'm captivated by a dark thirst for power
Attracting the minds, converted now from fear
And all of my barriers, my inhibitions have disappeared
Hands reaching through the sand
Reaching out, should I join them
I think I'll give this fight another shot
My darkness
And I want to see the stars again
My atrocities
And maybe I'll conquer death
My darkness
And I want to see the stars again
My atrocities
Someday I'll catch my breath
