Hero

I was wondering lonely

No one for miles to be seen.

My mind kept me prisoner,

But I had no one to help.

While my face said happy,

This was really killing me.

I needed someone to save me

‘Cause I couldn’t save myself.

And when I looked back

I saw you there.

I heard your laugh,

I couldn’t help but stare.

I knew was saved.

I found my hero.

You helped me up when I was down.

You made me smile when all else failed.

I thought the darkness was forever

Until the day you finally came

And I saw your beautiful smile.

All these words I’m saying now

They can’t express what I owe you

‘Cause you’re my hero.

My life has color,

No more darkness, only light.

Everything is better.

No more running, no more fright.

I wish you could see

How much you’ve really done.

You’re my angel

That no one can replace,

And even though you’ll never know,

You hold the key to my heart.

And all these things I’ve said just now,

They can’t express my love for you

Oh, my hero.

The End
