Insomnia Passage

Collapsing under your indifference
I am, as always, docile and quiet
but I am walking in darkness
I search for you, I need you now more than ever

I say that I love you
and you laugh in my face
It hurts me and now I am torn
Waiting for the insomnia to take hold

Cast me aside for another
I bleed my sadness into sarcasm
Desolate... I want to blacken the skies
So I realise my own private Hell

A trickle of blood runs down my face
And you turn belligerent
I spend my time by candlelight
Waving away the cobwebs

This abandoned manor shall serve
As my home, as my life
As my grave

The End
