Her Deepest Plunge

Broken Once Again

Piece by piece.

She wanted to stand up,

to be strong,

to be...someone else.

She wanted to drive away,

this sick feeling,

She wanted more than anything:

to have that someone back.

But it was a lost dream,

swirling away beyond her reach.

No longer could she control

who she was.

For the first time,

she let herself be engulfed

in her darkness.

She didn't care,

no longer hoped.

It was over.

All of it.

The End
