Her Easy Escape

Effortless

At times,

She'd break

and fall apart.

Too quick

To hide

Too hard

To dodge.

They'd see

and ask

"What's wrong?"

She'd smile

and say

"I'm perfectly fine."

Don't

Let

It

Out.

Shake of her head

She'd look away

And try to compose

Her face

To read just

Her mask

To let them know

This won't be the last

Lie.

The End
