Her Beautiful Illusion

A story written in poetry/prose (don't know which category it fits into) about a girl who masks her identity of imperfection with the ultimate illusion of who she is.

Her Outer Self

They think she's perfect,

Everyone does.

Her smile so confident,

Poise so strong.

Nothing can tear her down,

She's so bright.

Yet that uncertain smile,

Sometimes escapes.

She doesn't want to break,

Her need to be perfect.

Composing a mask,

Of beauty.

All her lies,

Form the ultimate truth.

She tries to be,

Her beautiful illusion.

The End
