Hearts Free Of Scars

Love is given to corruption so easily

Dark heart nectar with the rush of feeling free

Going home and only ghosts echo within

Love is easily given to the darkest of sins

Deep waters and I feel my last stand wavering

Breathing quicker and the fires flicker in defeat

Beyond a fightback, impossible to save

Do I go forward to the light, or behind me to retreat

Naive and not yet weary of the world

Another love story twisted to sorrow

Bearing no scars and the flesh is pure

Dumb love unknowing of horror

We're so easily given to fairytales

And our hearts weep in longing for a fantasy

Our minds open wide ready to sail

Our souls surrender themselves to fantasy

Naive and not yet weary of the world

Another love story twisted to sorrow

Bearing no scars and the flesh is pure

Dumb love unknowing of horror

The End
