Have you ever been scared?

Have you ever been scared?

So that you are bound in frozen ropes?

Have you ever been scared?

So that your muscles gel themselves together and those ice-ropes tighten,

Numbing your mind, your skin, your senses,

Have you ever been scared?

So that you lose all hope,

You fall to your knees,

And beg to be killed so that the pain of white-hot fear will subside,

But your cruel executioner plays with your mind,

Like a cat plays with the mouse before slaughtering it,

The death-throes last hours,

The blood, sweat and tears interlock,

A dilute scarlet river,

To drown in, to die,

The bittersweet flavour of death,

Have you ever been scared to the point of suicide,

Have you ever been as scared as I???

The End
