Never Again

Never again

The feeling of fingers

On cool, smooth keys;

Never again

The joy of music

In friends' hearts;

Never again

The instrument that brings joy;

Never again

Able to play the flute.

Only a lost arm

Missing,

No hope

For normal.

Watch the faces of strangers

Scrunch up

At the sight of

Someone without an arm.

Little kids asking questions,

Oblivious to others' feelings.

Never again

What life used to be.

The End
