Happily Ever after

There's no Happily ever after
just the remnants of once gotten bliss
in separation the heart grows stronger
and only solitude that one does miss

Only Fairy tales have happy endings
In real life the story doesn't end
Instead additional plotlines created
that twist, they turn, they distend

Oh, they all have interesting beginnings
they all are so pregnant with hope
along the way such disappointment
therefore we write stories to cope

The End
